PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer material capable of improving dispersing stability of a pigment without deteriorating image quality due to a decrease in transfer performance of an image forming layer, and forming a sharp transfer image of high image quality without ruggedness and without density unevenness or the like due to a release fault. SOLUTION: In the thermal transfer material comprising an at least image forming layer on a support, the image forming layer contains any of compound represented by formulae 1 to 4, wherein R1 is a 1-10C alkoxy group, R2 is a 1-20C alkoxy group, l, n are each an integer of 1 to 6 and 1+n<=6, R3 to R6 are each a hydrogen atom, a 2-20C acyl group, R7 is a hydrogen atom, 1-5C alkyl group, R8 is a 1-30C alkyl group, r is an integer of 1 to 10, R9 is a 1-20C alkyl group, and p, q are each an integer of 1 to 30. |
