PURPOSE: A flow amount measuring device is provided to provide a small-sized and light device and to continuously and stably measure a change of flow amount inside a vessel by measuring the flow amount using optical fiber. CONSTITUTION: A flow amount measuring device includes a light source(4), a first directional coupler(20) dividing light emitted from the light source into two branches, a first optical fiber(11) located in the air and forming an optical path of one of the two branched lights from the first directional coupler, a second optical fiber(12) forming an optical path of the other of the two branched lights and having a part soaked in liquid in a vessel(50), a second directional coupler(30) for coupling the two lights passing the first and second optical paths, and a comparative operating unit(40) for calculating and displaying an amount of liquid from interference caused by the coupled light in the second directional coupler.
