PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a pressure-resistant container good in the adhesion of the container main body and cap thereof. SOLUTION: Caps 6 are mounted on the upper and lower end parts (mirror plate parts) of an inner shell 2. A parison 20 is extruded from a nozzle 19 to be held between molds 21, 22 and gas is blown in the parison 20 from a blow pipe 27 to expand the parison 20. The parison 20 is expanded from the inner surfaces of the holes 7 of the caps 6 to the leading end surfaces of the plungers 25 of cylinders 24. Thereafter, the plunger 25 is allowed to advance to bring a resin into close contact with the leading end surfaces of the caps 6 to form flange parts 11.
