摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a UV oxidation device which is capable of efficiently and safely oxidizing organic matters in a sample liquid. SOLUTION: This device has an oxidation vessel 10 through which the sample liquid passes and a UV light source 20 which irradiates the sample liquid in the oxidation vessel 10 with UV rays. The oxidation vessel 10 consists of a double pipe structure which has an outer cylinder 11 and an inner cylinder 12 consisting of material at least partly allowing the substantial transmission of the UV rays and in which the sample liquid passes between the outer cylinder 11 and the inner cylinder 12. The inner side of the outer cylinder 11 is coated with photocatalysts and the UV light source 20 is housed in the inner side of the inner cylinder 12.
