CUTER BIT EXCHANGE MECHANISM FOR SHIELD MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter bit exchange mechanism for a shield machine capable of exchanging cutter bits from an inner side of the machine by underground work only and making a thickining of a solidified wall and shortening of a machine length compatible. SOLUTION: A formation space X of a solidified wall 46 having such length that is obtained by adding a retraction amount of a front barrel 3 to a projection amount of a passing-in hood 13 is formed inside the passing-in hood 13 and the front barrel 3 by protruding the passing-in hood 13 forward from the front barrel 3 by a hood jack 16 while retracting the front barrel 3 onto a rear barrel 4 side by a front barrel jack 5. The solidified wall 46 is formed by injecting hardener from a hardener agent pouring means 35 into the formation space X. A thickness of the solidifying wall 46 is a length X of relative distance between the front barrel 3 and the passing-in hood 13 because the front barrel 3 is retracted and the passing-in hood 13 advances. As a result, a thick wall of the solidified wall 46 becomes compatible with shortening of a machine length of a shield machine 1.
