PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor device providing an excellent noise reducing effect, an applied device thereof, and a vacuum cleaner. SOLUTION: This electric motor device comprises an impeller 11 having a plurality of blades 12, an electric blower 10 allowing noise to be generated by driving the impeller 11, a passage 13 to allow noise to be propagated, and a noise reducing device 1 having a plurality of expanded parts 4 short in width enough against the wavelength of the noise provided generally all around the passage 13. Thus, the noise generated from the electric blower can be reduced effectively.
