摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device capable of suppressing an increase in the size of a nozzle body to prevent deterioration of the mounting ability of an engine and the assembling workability of a fuel injection device, and preventing reduction in output of the engine or deterioration of the fuel consumption. SOLUTION: A control member 35 constituting a part of a pressure chamber 34, and a spring 36 for giving energizing force in the direction opposite to a lifting direction of a needle valve 26 to the control member 35, are arranged- installed in the pressure chamber 34. A piston 31 and the control member 35 are provided, spaced a specified distance L apart, and the supply fuel is introduced into a space confined by the piston, the control member 35, and a nozzle body 21 to form a pressure chamber 37. A connecting path 42 connecting a part between a throttle part 39a of a fuel discharge passage 39 and a fuel control valve 41 to the pressure chamber 34, is provided. In the connecting path 42, a spool valve 43 is provided, and the spool valve 43 is structured to open or close the connecting path 42.
