PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily loosen a flange in a movable side in the case a tool is removed from a spindle, in a device for fixing the tool of grinding wheel or the like to the spindle of a grinder. SOLUTION: This device, fixing to a spindle a tool 7 interposed between a fixed side flange 8 mounted in the spindle 4 of a rotary tool and a movable side flange 9 fastened to a screw shaft part 6 of the spindle, is constituted by providing in the fixed side flange 8 a play in a rotational direction for integrally rotating the fixed side flange 8, tool 7, and the movable side flange 9 relating to the spindle in a looseness direction relating to the screw shaft part 6 of the movable side flange 9.
