PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly permeable covering material which can promote the healing of a trauma by suppressing the increase of various germs at the wound of the trauma and, even when the material is renewed, preventing an insufficiently restored skin from causing disorganization. SOLUTION: The covering material uses sufficiently air permeable paper which is made of natural pulp and disintegrated by water or liquid disinfectants at the portion which directly comes into contact with and covers the trauma and is mixed with alkalescent, porous and hygroscopic powder. At the time of fixing the material to a human body, in addition, coarse gauze or meshed paper which is not disintegrated by water is used so that the air permeability of the material may not be checked.
