PURPOSE: A reflective LCD(liquid crystal display) is to dissolve the time difference problem generated in the reflective LCD, thereby preventing lowering of a reflecting rate and a transmitting rate of the LCD. CONSTITUTION: An HLC(holographic light control) film(420) changes a light path into a vertical direction while light having a desired incident angle is transmitted through the HLC film. An upper polarizing plate(412) transforms a polarizing characteristic of the light. An upper substrate(410) has a color filtering layer through which the light has a desired wavelength. A liquid crystal layer(408) changes a polarizing direction of the light having the desired wavelength according to an applied voltage. A lower substrate(406) has a thin film transistor for controlling a transmitting amount of the light. A lower polarizing plate(402) selects the polarizing direction of the light. A reflecting plate(404) is disposed at a lower portion of the lower polarizing plate to reflect the light. |
