摘要 PURPOSE: A dynamic channel allocation method in extension calling regions within mobile communication system is provided to decide a necessary CE(Channel Element) type in call set up, thereby reducing the unnecessary channel allocation in minimum and reducing the occupation time of CE. CONSTITUTION: According to the request of call set up of the mobile station(S1), when RTD value is measured from CE and then reported to TSB(S2). If the RTD value is larger than the critical value of RTD, it is discriminated that the mobile station is positioned at the extended region, and so the normal CE is allocated. At this time, when the RTD value is larger than the value of extended add(EXTEND_ADD) during the normal call processing according to the normal allocation, the extended channel is allocated additionally(S4,S5,S6). Thereafter, if the RTD value is larger than the value of swap_to_extension(SWAP_TO_DROP)(S9), the normal is non-activated and simultaneously the extension channel is activated(S10). Thereafter, when the RTD value is larger than the value of normal_drop(NORMAL_DROP)(S11), the non-activated normal channel allocation is cancelled and then extension call processing can be performed(S12).
