FIRE RESISTING PLATE SURFACE PRESSURE APPARATUS OF SLIDE GATE FOR MOLTEN STEEL INJECTOR

PURPOSE: A fire resisting plate surface pressure apparatus of a slide gate for a molten steel injector is provided to improve working efficiency during the mounting operation of a lower frame by elastically moving a moving plate toward an upper frame, and uniformly applying the surface pressure on all area by always constantly applying a pressing force of both sides of the lower frame toward the upper frame. CONSTITUTION: The fire resisting plate surface pressure apparatus of a slide gate for a molten steel injector comprises spring housings (218) each of which are formed on both sides of the long side part of a lower frame (203) in the state that the opposite sides of the spring housings to an upper frame (201) are opened; moving plates (220) installed inside each of the spring housings for receiving the elasticity by a plurality of springs (219); first rotating elements (226) rotationally installed at both sides of the long side part of the upper frame (201) so that the first rotating elements are oppositely spaced apart from each other in a certain distance, and two of the first rotating elements form a group; second rotating elements (227) united with the end parts of the first rotating elements; and rollers (228) rotationally axially jointed to the second rotating elements so that the rollers are selectively contacted with the moving plates inside the spring housings according to the rotation of the second rotating elements, wherein the rollers receive the elasticity of the springs through the moving plates as providing the moving plates with moving forces during the contact with the moving plates.
