<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent improper tuning-on/turning-off by stopping a lighting control of a auxiliary lamp for dusk during high-speed traveling, and keeping an immediately preceding on-state or off-state state before shifting to low-speed traveling during low-speed traveling. SOLUTION: When external illumination detected by an illumination sensor 7 is in a turning on illumination range, a dusk auxiliary lamp 22 is turned on, and when the external illumination is not in the turning on illumination range, the auxiliary lamp 22 for dusk is turned off. When vehicular speed detected by a vehicular speed sensor 2 is lower than an a specified value, the auxiliary lamp 22 for dusk keeps an immediately preceding on-state or off-state, so that the auxiliary lamp 22 for dusk is controlled not to turn on if the auxiliary lamp 22 for dusk has been in an off-state till then, under the condition where a vehicle is stopped for waiting a traffic signal at night and a street light is so bright that it is in the turning on illumination range. When the vehicular speed detected by the vehicular speed sensor is higher than the specified value, the auxiliary lamp 22 for dusk is controlled not to turn on to prevent unnecessary lighting on a freeway.</p> |
