<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail structure capable of further saving the work labor than the conventional unit handrail, capable of fitting the handrail units more firmly than before, and having high safety in a unit handrail using the handrail units. SOLUTION: This handrail comprises a coping, supports 2, and handrail units 3. A recessed groove 6 is provided on the lower face of the coping, the upper sections of the supports 2 are fitted on the indoor side of the recessed groove 6 via joints 4, and the upper sections of the handrail units 3 are fitted on the outdoor side of the recessed groove 6. The lower sections of the handrail units 3 are fitted to the lower sections of the supports 2 via brackets 9, and the coping and the handrail units 3 are protruded to the outdoor side from the supports 2 in this handrail.</p> |
