PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a counter electromotive force control device and an image forming apparatus capable of surely preventing an adverse effect due to a counter electromotive force at a time when a DC motor is stopped without raising the cost. SOLUTION: In the case where it is judged that printing is completed at a time point t1, a solenoid, a fan and a small motor except the DC motor which are loading means to a power source are turned on at a time point t2 which is before a time point t3, when the DC motor is turned off, by a predetermined time period T1. After the DC motor is turned off at the time point t3, the solenoid, fan and small motor are turned off at a time point t4 when a predetermined time period T2 has passed from the time point t3.
