PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator group supervisory control system ensuring elevator transporting ability at a high peak time. SOLUTION: This elevator group supervisory control system for controlling a plurality of elevator cars in group, comprises car assignment means 1C, 1D, 1F, 1G, 1H, 1J for calculating the transporting ability of the elevator cars at the time of a new landing call and calculating an evaluation for transporting ability corresponding to this transporting ability to determine the elevator car to be assigned for the new landing call in accordance the evaluation for the transporting ability.
