PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely preserve data required for restoring a game state in a game machine for controlling the recovery of the game state to recover the game state based on held data when a power source is supplied. SOLUTION: A game control base board is provided with a power source monitor IC 902 for generating a first voltage reduction signal to permit a game control CPU 56 to start a power supply stop time processing and the CPU 56 introduces a first voltage reduction signal to an NMI terminal to perform a data preservation processing. The board is also provided with a power source monitor IC 904 for generating a second voltage reduction signal to permit the CPU 56 to be in a reset state in the final loop part of the processing. Then the power supply stop time processing is surely performed and also data to be preserved during power source interruption are surely preserved.
