PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that measurement and marking of a maximum raised portion which is an essential condition for manufacturing the denture has been mainly achieved making use of the style to support a carbon rod for plotting by a reinforcement sheath, but this method is not appropriate for an instrument to measure the fine parallelism of a peridontal structure, the measurement and marking have been vague, and many manufactured dentures have been inappropriate since the reference line in manufacturing the denture is not accurate, and accommodated in a cavity of mouth through the re-adjustment by a dentist. SOLUTION: This measurement and marking unit is of a single action type, slender and strong. A mixture consisting of a graphite (carbon) powder or a coating material and a viscous material is uniformly pressure-stuck to an outer circumference on the first stage of a two-stage rod-like structure formed of a hard metal, i.e., a marker. The chewing motion of the food contributes much to the healthy life maintenance, and the denture can be defined as a life support system. The denture correct and excellent in compatibility can be manufactured.
