PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily position a support in a correct attitude in a partition of a type in which the support is directly erected from a floor. SOLUTION: Two slits 26 and 27 orthogonal to each other at the center of a receiving piece 22 are formed on the receiving piece 22 with the support 11' fitted in an unshiftable manner. In the support 11 for intersecting connection, the slits 26 and 27 are extended in an overlapping manner on two marking lines S drawn on the floor orthogonal to each other. Thus, the position and the attitude of the receiving piece 22 can be set correctly. When used for the support 11 for liner connection, the first slit 26 overlaps the marking line S. The receiving piece 22 is fitted to an inwardly projecting bar 20 of the support 11'; and since the inwardly projecting bar 20 is formed both on the support 11 for linear connection and on the stay 11' for intersecting connection, two kinds of support 11 and 11' can be positioned by one kind of brackets 22.
