PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a can mouth which can be prevented from deforming by stably stacking. SOLUTION: The can mouth 1 to be rolled onto an upper part of an approximately bottomed cylindrical can barrel 2 to form a metallic can with a cap 3 to be attached/removed includes an approximately annular upper end periphery 4, a shoulder 5 formed to expand in an outer diameter direction continuously with the upper end periphery 4, an approximately cylindrical side wall 6 formed to extend downward continuously with the shoulder 5, a plurality of engaging threads 7 formed horizontally along an outer peripheral surface of the side wall 6, a stage 8 formed on a lower end periphery of the side wall 6, a panel 9 formed to expand outward continuously with the stage 8, and a curl 10 for rolling formed continuously with an outer periphery of the panel 9. When an upper can mouth 1 is fitted into a lower can mouth 1, the shoulder 5 of the lower can mouth 1 is engaged with the stage 8 of the upper mouth 1, whereby they can be stably stacked.
