PURPOSE: A program load data updating method of code division multiple access base station system is provided to realize rapidly the update of program load data between the BSM(Base station manager) and BSC(Base Station Controller) according to the performance of soft hand off, more effectively. CONSTITUTION: In the first process, the base station manager selects the base station of destination required to change the program load data and transmits the changed program load data to the base station controller of the selected destination(210,212). In the second process, when there is a response according to the success of program load data updating from the base station controller of the destination in response to the transmission of the program load data, the base station manager transmits the changed program load data to the circumference base station controllers(216). In the third process, after the passage of constant time, the stored and changed program load data are deleted according to the transmission of program load data to the circumference base station controller and thereafter the changed program load data are updated(220,222).
