摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for separating and recovering a recycled material of a waste optical cable are provided to separate and recover aluminum coat and a synthesized coat to be recycled. CONSTITUTION: A waste optical cable is supplied through a horn shaped tube of a cable supplying part(10). A groove(21a) is formed on a circumference to cut one side of the waste optical cable in a longitudinal direction. A transfer roller(21) is pivotally moved by a driving unit. A cable cutting part(20) cuts a cable by a cutter(22). A separating plate(31a) is inserted into a coat and an optical fiber on an opposite side of a cut portion of the optical cable which is cut in the cable cutting part(20) and supplied. An optical fiber separating mechanism(31) has the separating plate(31a). A pair of protrusion rollers(41,42) emboss the coat to strip a synthetic resin inner coat layer and an aluminum inner coat layer which are separated and discharged from the optical fiber separating part(30). A coat stripping part(40) has the protrusion rollers(41,42). A heating chamber(51) heats the synthetic resin inner coat layer and the aluminum inner coat layer which are stripped in the coat stripping part due to a difference in heat expansion rate.</p>
