PURPOSE: A system for providing a position information via a GPS terminal is provided that the user can identify exactly the position in the position data and the screen control data transmitted from specific GPS terminal to at least one GPS terminal. CONSTITUTION: A GPS system comprises a GPS receiving part, a key entry part, a running part of display, an electron map data storing part and a control part. The GPS receiving part receives a position information delivered from GPS satellite via an antenna. The key entry part selects a transmission of desired position information to the other GPS terminal. The running part of display can run the display part formed in front of terminal in order to soft copy the data comprising the position information and the electron map to the screen. The electron map data storing part stores the map information of any region corresponding to the received position information via GPS satellite. The controlling part controls the transmission of the position information of specific region to the designated GPS terminal through the other GPS terminal via the key-inputting signal of the key entry part
