PURPOSE: A method for managing scanning service by using a registry analysis is provided to perform various internet business by constructing data base storing computer specification understood by registry information of member computer terminals and member information and inclination. CONSTITUTION: A web server(50) is connected to the internet(40) and has a registry scan program(51). The registry scan program(51) gets permission to scan a registry(11) of computer terminal(10,20,30) from users subscribed by using a web site(60) by using an OCX(OLE custom control) certification system and an Active X technology and performs remote control and analysis of the registry(11). A contents server(70) manages up-to-date patch file, driver file, etc., necessary to upgrade of the terminals(10,20,30) and transmits various programs and files to the terminals(10,20,30) according to request of the web server(50). A DB(Data Base) server(80) comprises the first DB(81) storing information extracted from current hardware specifications and current software name of the terminals(10,20,30), the second DB(82) storing purchase situation and software download situation of the users by using a shopping mall of the web site(60) and a commerce-community(61) and the third DB(83) storing personal information of members such as address, name, hobby, etc.
