PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device with simple and positive assembly or capable of realizing size and weight reduction of parts. SOLUTION: A module cover 16 is attached on a front side of a retainer 12. The retainer 12 is a member made of short glass fiber reinforced plastic holding a bag 14 and an inflator 18, and it is fixed on a steering wheel 26. A hoop 25 is attached to an inner side of the retainer 12. The hoop 25 is a bent shape drawing a rough loop going around the whole of the steering wheel 26 once. The hoop 25 is comprised of a conductive member such as a steel round bar (or a wire) and it constitutes one part of a horn conductive circuit. The hoop 25 abuts to an inside of a locking piece 166 of the module cover 16 for preventing its deformation and loosening. |
