PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic wall surface traveling device easily operable and having sufficient wall surface attractive performance and traveling performance. SOLUTION: This magnetic wall surface traveling device to be traveled on a magnetic wall surface 170 comprises a car body 10, a magnetic attractive mechanism 50 for attracting the body 10 to the magnetic wall surface 170, front wheels and rear wheels. The magnetic attractive mechanism 50 comprises a gas cylinder mechanism 20 consisting of a cylinder 21 having a gas chamber 25, a piston 30, and a piston rod 32a movable in the approaching and separating directions relative to the magnetic wall surface 170; a driven traveling device 55 installed to the piston rod 32a rockably within a prescribed range, and a magnet 40 arranged so as to have a prescribed distance form the magnetic wall surface 170 in the grounding of the driven traveling device 55 on the magnetic wall surface 170. The internal pressure of the gas chamber 25 is set so that the driven traveling device 55 is grounded on the magnetic wall surface 170 at a prescribed pressure in the grounding of the front wheel and rear wheel on the magnetic wall surface 170. |
