PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for welding devices for which a miniaturized motor is used by reducing the inside diameter of the rotor of the motor and moreover the whole length of which is shortened. SOLUTION: In the welding device provided with a pressurizing shaft 9 which is driven with the motor 1 and has a part where is retracted into the motor, the device is the driving device for the welding devices whose linear motion guiding part is constituted by forming the rotor 5 of the motor into a hollow shaft, fixing a ball screw shaft 7 inside the rotor, fixing a ball nut 11 which is screwed with the ball screw shaft in the end part of the pressurizing shaft and making the outside diameter of the pressurizing shaft smaller than the inside diameter of the rotor and the liner motion guiding part is made movable on the inner peripheral surface of the rotor.
