PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the induction characteristic of a siphon action. SOLUTION: The descent conduit 1f of a trap conduit 1b is provided with a contraction section 2 at its terminal section. The contraction section 2 is formed to squeeze the terminal opening area at a terminal shelf section 10 protruded from the inner wall of a terminal conduit on the inner wall of the descent conduit on the opposite side to a bowl section 1a, and the opening shape is a nearly elliptic shape. A terminal conduit section 1g at the upper section of the contraction section 2 is an expanded conduit portion expanded to have a conduit area larger than the conduit area of the descent conduit 1f on the upstream side. The contraction section 2 and the terminal conduit section 1g are formed on the bowl section 1a side eccentrically to the descent conduit 1f along the longitudinal direction of a toilet stool.
