摘要 PURPOSE: A unit integrating method in a synchronous optical transmission system is provided to easily perform switching by just changing a mode without substituting a unit and reduce the expense by integrating an LSMB unit, a low-speed multiplexing unit, to one type and changing a subsidiary signal from E1 to T1 and from T1 to E1. CONSTITUTION: Three or four digital signal 1(DS1) signals are applied to a T1/E1 signal combined line matching unit(41A) and a T1 signal dedicated line matching unit(41B). The applied DS1 signals are aligned according to a clock reproduced by a T1/E1 mode signal through the T1/E1 signal combined line matching unit(41A) and the T1 signal dedicated line matching unit(41B). the T1/E1 signal combined line matching unit(41A) and the T1 signal dedicated line matching unit(41B) transmits a field programmable gate array(FPGA) controller(45). Upon receipt of the T1/E1 mode, the FPGA controller(45) generates a required clock through a clock generator(44). If the generated clock is the E1 mode, 2.048 Mbps clock is supplied, while if the generated clock is the T1 mode, 1.544Mbps clock is supplied. The three (E1) or the four(T1) data as reproduced and the clock supplied from the clock generator(44) are applied to a signal processor(42) and a pointer processing performance monitoring unit(43) for monitoring a signal map, signal mapping, performance monitoring, multiplexing and a pointer processing performance. The signal processor(42) and the pointer processing performance monitoring unit(43) receive the T1/E1 mode signals. At this time, if it is the E1 mode, they are operated as a VC12, while, if it is the T1 mode, they are operated as a VC11. The signal processing unit(42) and the pointer processing performance monitoring unit(43) monitor the three(E1) or the four(T1) data and clock for the signal map, signal mapping, performance monitoring, multiplexing and pointer processing performance, and output them as a TUG2 SIGNAL. In this process, they performs the performance monitoring and alarming according to an instruction from a channel control processor(CPSP) of a synchronous optical transmission system.
