PURPOSE: A piezoelectric sensor for a velocity pulse wave and an acceleration pulse wave detection system and its manufacturing method are provided to enhance the piezoelectric sensitivity. CONSTITUTION: The piezoelectric sensor(1) comprises a disc type piezoelectric component(10) having a hole on its center position, a pressure region(20) having support protrusions(40) formed on the inner circle boundary of the piezoelectric component, and a pressure receiving region(30) having support protrusions(41) formed on the outer circle boundary of the piezoelectric component. The manufacturing method includes the steps of penetrating a hole on the piezoelectric component, penetrating a hole on the pressure receive region with the same diameter of the hole of the piezoelectric component, forming a concave groove on the pressure region, forming the six reference protrusions on the outer side of the pressure region or the pressure receive region, inserting the center rod having the same diameter of the concave groove into the pressure receive region, gluing the support protrusions of the pressure receive region, inserting the piezoelectric component onto the center rod to connect the pressure receive region and the piezoelectric component, gluing the support protrusions of the pressure region, inserting the piezoelectric component onto the center rod to connect the pressure region and the piezoelectric component, and removing the center rod from the piezoelectric sensor.
