PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle preparation having protrusions, exhibiting extremely excellent property of the resistance to rolling while keeping a moderate fluidity and easily giving a pharmaceutical preparation. SOLUTION: The objective particle preparation having protrusions is produced by forming protrusions on the surface of a spherical particle having a sphericity coefficient of 0.85-1.00. The extent of the protrusion is 0.05-0.50 in terms of protrusion degree B defined by B=(r2-r1)/r2 wherein r1 is the radius of a circle inscribing the projection image of the particle with protrusions and r2 is the radius of a circle circumscribing the projection image of the particle with protrusions.
