PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an option-fitting device for a table in which options such as a panel, a lighting appliance, etc., are attached to the table, the upper plate of which is supported by studs and the option support members are fitted by making use of insertion holes of the upper end cap of the stud and the insertion hole is covered with a cover body when the support member is not used to improve the appearance and the removed cover body is housed to prevent loss thereof when the support member is used. SOLUTION: An upper end cap 4 opened at the lower side is detachably fitted to the upper end of a cylindrical stud 2 and an insertion hole 13 in which the lower end of a support member 5 is inserted is formed in the central part, and vertical ribs 26, 26 are formed in the inside. A plurality of fitting pieces 30 are projected in a closing plate 28 of a lid body 17 covering the insertion hole and a fitting part 31 in which a fitting piece is inserted is formed on the upper face of the cap so as to detachably attach the lid body. The lid body detached from the cap upper face is housed in the inside while bringing the closing plate into contact with the rib and also bringing the fitting piece into contact with the internal wall face 25.
