PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the conveying performance and attain the cost cutting in the reaping unit in a combine harvester that is equipped with three packer units P1, P2 and P3, in which a couple of rotary packers 18 bite and rotate on the root side of the reaped cereal stems and collect them, arranged in series in the transverse direction to the machine body and has the first endlessly rotating belt 21a to convey the root side of the cut cereal stems from the first packer unit P1 on the outer side of the machine body and the second endlessly rotating belt 23 to feed the root side of the cut cereal stems from the second packer unit P2 to the first endlessly rotating belt 21a. SOLUTION: A driving power-separating site locating below the rotor 41 at which the conveying end side of the second endlessly rotating belt 23 is wound is disposed on the transmission case for the reaper. The driving power is transmitted from the power-separating side to the rotor 41.
