PURPOSE: A radio data service apparatus is provided to distribute the load of data by separating a signaling data processing board from a traffic data processing board and to make an IWF(Inter Working Function) execute a high-speed radio data service using a frame relay. CONSTITUTION: A radio data service apparatus consists of a frame relay board(20), a PRI(Primary Rate Interface)/modem bard(21), a main board(22), and a packet board(23). The frame relay board(20) processes a frame relay protocol. The PRI/modem bard(21) processes a primary rate interface protocol and a modem protocol. The main board(22) processes a call processing function and operation/billing/statistics functions for circuit data service and packet data service. Also the main board(22) makes the radio data service apparatus controlled through a network from the external using an SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol). The packet board(23) having a server function and a routing function processes traffic for packet data service. |
