METHOD FOR PROVIDING LOCATION INFORMATION USING COMMUNICATION DEVICE

PURPOSE: A method for providing location information using a communication device is provided to offer not only more exact location information for an arbitrary user terminal but also information around the terminal. CONSTITUTION: If a user accesses a location information service system using a mobile terminal(201), a control center connects the mobile terminal to the location information service system. A communication server in the location information service system receives the relay signal from the control center and reports it to a management server. The management server makes the mobile terminal enter the location information service system(202). Then the user inputs information for a target terminal he wants to trace(203). The user selects at least one of the service items provided by a menu programmed and embedded in the terminal(204). If service items are selected by the user, the servers in the location information service system make inquiries into the selected items(205). If the inquiries are completed, their results are provided to the user's mobile terminal through an interface server(206).
