RF CONTROL DEVICE OF GSM TERMINAL

PURPOSE: An RF(Radio Frequency) control device of a GSM(Global System for Mobile) terminal is provided to reduce unnecessary power consumption by simplifying a design of an RF control device. CONSTITUTION: A TDMA(Time Division Multiple Access) counter(21) generates an interrupt each TDMA. A control portion(20) receives the interrupt from the TDMA counter(21), controls an operation of a clock generation portion(22) for generating a clock, and a predetermined control signal. The control portion(20) provides clocks to a frequency synthesis register(23) and an AGC register(24) and transmits the data to an RF interface portion(25) by controlling the clock generation portion(22). The AGC register(24) outputs an RF control signal for RF power to an RF interface portion(25) according to the clock of the clock generation portion(22) and a predetermined control signal of the control portion(20).
