DEVICE FOR ILLUMINATING UNIFORM LIGHT FOR PROJECTOR

PURPOSE: A device for illuminating a uniform light for a projector is provided to illuminate a uniform light and to set horizontal and vertical angles of an illumination light of an optical axis independently. CONSTITUTION: A light source(110) includes a lamp(111) creating a light, a reflection mirror(113) reflecting the light output from the lamp(111) and guiding a progress path. A uniform light illumination optical system(120) makes a light being irradiated in the light source(110) and being inputted in a display element(130) into a uniform light. The uniform light illumination optical system(120) includes the first and second lens arrays(121, 125) and a condenser lens(129). The first lens arrays(121) focuses and mixes an incident light for differing incident lights with respect to the first direction parallel to a horizontal side of the display element(130) and the second direction parallel to a vertical side of the display element(130). The second lens array(125) focuses a complex incident lights mixed for differing incident angles of the lights with respect to the first direction the second direction out of progressed through the first lens arrays(121). The condenser lens(129) focuses a light progressed through the first and second lens arrays(121, 125) for focusing the lights having a size adapted to horizontal side and the vertical side of the display element(130) on the display element(130).
