PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for measuring the weight of a seat, having the advantage of reducing manufacturing and assembling costs. SOLUTION: The device 10 for measuring the weight of a seat comprises a seat frame 11 for supporting a seat 3 and a load sensor 25 provided on the seat frame 11. Blocks 24 are fixed to the lower faces at the front ends of right and left seat rails of the seat frame 11 and body mounting brackets 21 are pivotally connected to the blocks 24. The load sensor 25 is arranged on the lower part at the front end of a load transfer plate 23 for a rear frame 19 at the rear ends of the seat rails 17. The device 10 is kept horizontal to a body floor with the weight of the seat supported at three points, e.g. right and left pivotal connections at the front side and the load sensor portion at the rear side center. Only one load sensor 25 results in less manufacturing, assembling and wiring costs than usual. |
