PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lightweight bulk molding compound capable of reducing the residue of incineration, accordingly having high heat efficiency as a fuel raw material for a cement, facilitating the disposal treatment, and excellent in recycling properties, and further to provide a molded product by using the bulk molding compound. SOLUTION: This bulk molding compound obtained by impregnating a base material of an organic fiber with an unsaturated polyester composition comprising an unsaturated polyester resin, a polymerizable monomer, a weak shrinking material, a curing agent and a thickening agent is characterized by the content of the base material of the organic fiber regulated so as to be 4-50 wt.%. The molded product of the bulk molding compound is obtained by subjecting the bulk molding compound to a pressing and heating molding. |
