PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a stem for slag removing member by which the stem can be manufactured at a low cost and further, the working cost for manufacturing a slag removing member is reduced and molten steel is not splashed in the case of practically using the stem. SOLUTION: This stem is manufacturing by casting a material having refractoriness into a mold 30 having a hollow cylindrical part 30a capable of being split.
