PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the troublesome mechanical adjustment in a conventional stripping device where an unnecessary part not corresponding to a product is cut off from a sheet material along a cut line formed on the sheet material corresponding to the shape of the product. SOLUTION: A sheet material 1 is loaded on a loading surface 21 in such a manner that an unnecessary part 11 of the sheet material 1 is allowed to abut on a rotatable catching means having a catching part 31 for catching the sheet material, and the catching means 3 is rotated and driven while pressing the sheet material 1 toward the loading surface 21 to cut off the unnecessary part 11 from the sheet material 1, whereby the stripping work can be automatically and quickly performed without executing the complicated adjustment.
