PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marking device, in which the number of parts is small, the control is easy, the cost is low and wastes and troubles are reduced, by setting the numbers of nozzles, pumps, and the like, to the minimum. SOLUTION: A marking device is used for jetting from nozzles 3... a plurality of color lines 2... on a tread 1 traveling along the longitudinal direction and carrying out the marking, and provided with a plurality of coating tanks 4... storing different color coating materials and one cleaning tank 5. The plurality of coating material tanks 4... and the one cleaning tank 5 are connected to respective nozzles 3 through a piping, and a coating material is fed from the coating material tank 4 to nozzle 3 and jetted to draw a color line 2 on the tread 1, and then a solvent is fed from the cleaning tank 5 to the nozzle 3 before other color coating materials are fed from other coating material tanks 4 to the nozzles 3 to clean the nozzle 3.
