PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely jet back up air in a required jet state to a rear surface side of a rotary atomization head by a simple structure. SOLUTION: An inside member 60 and an outside member 62 which compose an air deducing side end part of a back-up air feed channel 54 provided to the coating apparatus body 12, are provided. For the inside member 60, the first to the third buffle plates 86, 88 and 90 each with an opening part at a specific position are provided. Besides, for the outside member 62, a blockaded space channel 104 is constituted between the outside member 62 and the inside member 60 by threading the outside member 62 around the inside member 60.
