PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat-activated pressure-sensitive adhesive agent, a heat- activated pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet and a heat-activated pressure-sensitive adhesive double sided paper that have a strong adhesion to an article to be adhered, especially to a poly(vinyl chloride) sheet or a polyethylene sheet, have an excellent blocking resistance, and, from the view point of environmental problems, employ a substitutional material for a phthalic acid ester compound (suspected to cause an endocrinopathy) which has been used as a thermally melting material (typically, a solid plasticizer) in a conventional heat-activated pressure-sensitive adhesive agent. SOLUTION: The heat-activated pressure-sensitive adhesive agent comprises a thermoplastic resin, a thermally melting material that is solid at a room temperature and is melted when heated, and a tackifier, and is characterized in that the thermally melting material contains a hindered phenol compound; and a heat-activated pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet and a heat-activated pressure-sensitive adhesive double sided paper using the pressure-sensitive adhesive agent are provided.
