PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system and an information storage medium allowing a player to grasp the contents of save data and a condition at the time of saving easily. SOLUTION: In this game system, a desired save data is selected from among a plurality of save data and is loaded to perform a game based on the selected save data. It includes a save content association picture image preparation and processing part 144 preparing a save content association picture image including at least either of a scenery and a character associated with the contents of save data or a condition at the time of saving and a load information selection processing part 114 outputting the save content association picture image when a player selects save data to be loaded. The contents of a frame buffer at the time of saving may be used as the save content association picture image. Save content association sound including at least one of effect sound, BGM, and voice of character associated with the contents of save data or a condition at the time of saving may be generated and outputted. |
