PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively remove a solidified body in a joint section on the unconnected side of a diaphragm wall member made of steel, and to easily conduct connection with an afterwards inserted diaphragm wall member made of steel in the execution method of a diaphragm wall made of steel, in which the diaphragm wall member made of steel is inserted into the soil improvement body of continuous soil cement. SOLUTION: Pawls 2 are installed onto the outer circumference of an endless chain 8 for an excavation agitating device 6 being composed of a cutter post 7 and the endless chain 8 stretched on the outer circumference of the cutter post 7 and constructing a soil improvement body 12. The claws 2 have a form that they can be fitted to joint sections 14 on the unconnected sides of diaphragm wall sections 13, made of steel precedingly inserted into the soil improvement body 12 of soil cement, and remove solidified bodies in the joint sections 14 or at the peripheries of the joint sections 14.
