PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging type vacuum cleaner, with which usable time is prolonged, which is light in weight, miniaturized and improved in convenience. SOLUTION: A charging stand 6 is provided with a battery 7, a sucking port 3 for sucking dust on a surface to be cleaned by operating the sucking power of a motor-driven air blower 4 for generating the sucking power with the battery 7, a dust collection chamber 18 for collecting dust from the sucking port 3, a battery storage chamber 25 having a connecting part 26 for storing the battery and a main body charging part 27 for charging in the state of loading the battery 7 in the battery storage chamber 25 on the charging type electric cleaner, and the charging stand 6 is provided with an auxiliary charging part 28 for charging the single battery 7. Thus, the charging type vacuum cleaner, with which time for cleaning with the charging type vacuum cleaner is prolonged, which is miniaturized, light in weight and improved in convenience can be provided.
