PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for cleaning pottery capable of removing dirt and scale strongly stuck to the surface of the pottery by ordinary cleaning behavior or simpler cleaning behavior. SOLUTION: In the tool for cleaning pottery consisting of a cleaning part for removing the dirt stuck to the surface of the pottery by friction with the pottery surface and a supporting part connected to the cleaning part, the cleaning part and the supporting part are sufficiently rigid against the force to be applied during ordinary cleaning of the pottery.
