PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heavy corrosion-proof coating composition not having a problem of safety and hygiene caused by tar, solving the inferior compatibility of petroleum resin, not leaving stickiness behind on a coating film and excellent in corrosion-proof property and low temperature curing property. SOLUTION: This heavy corrosion-proof coating composition consists of (A) an epoxy resin, (B) an amine-based curing agent, (C) an aromatic hydrocarbon formaldehyde resin, a pigment and a solvent, in which the epoxy resin is bisphenol A diglycidyl ether and/or bisphenol F diglycidyl ether.
