DISPLAY SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ENABLING RECOGNITION OF FINGER PRINT

PURPOSE: A finger print recognition display system and a method for driving the system are provided to read finger print data by a finger print recognition module installed at a display, transmit the read finger print data to a main body, and drive the computer system in the case that the read finger print data is identical to the registered data. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a display device(100) and a main body(200). The display device(100) includes a finger print recognition module(110). The finger print recognition module(110) includes an image recognizer(111), a converter(112) and a communication device(113). The image recognizer(111) enables a user to input a finger print. The converter(112) converts the analog image into digital image. The communication module(113) transmits the digital image to the main body(200). The main body(200) includes a finger print verification module(220). The finger print verification module(220) includes a characteristic extractor, a finger print matching/registration module and a finger print certification module.
